The truck is powered by a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine and an Allison Fifth Generation EVS 3000 transmission with 5 speeds and pushbutton shifter.  A Harrison 6-kW hydraulic generator is mounted over the pump on the right side.

The apparatus has a Hale DSD single-stage 1,500-gom pump and a 500-gallon polypropylene tank.  The front bumper tray carries 100’ of 1.75 inch hose, and two 1¾-inch crosslays (1 @ 150’ and 1 @ 200’) are located in open trays behind the cab.  A booster reel with 150’ of ¾-inch hose is located in above the pump panel on the left side.  800’ of 5-inch LDH is carried in chutes on each side of the body next to the aerial.  Additional sections of hose are stored in the left compartment adjacent to the pump panel.

The aerial is a rear-mount, heavy-duty 75-foot stick (750 lb. tip load) constructed of aluminum along with an Elkhart Scorpion Model 8294-04 electric monitor and an Elkhart ST-195 nozzle.  TecNiq Blue LED lighting adorns the aerial for night time operations.  A complement of Duo-Safety ground ladders (a 24’ two section, two 16’, and a 12’ folding) and a 17’ Little Giant are stored in the torque box.
