Darley’s Leadership Essay Competition Is Open for Entries

Itasca, IL, February 14, 2022 – A first in the industry, Darley is hosting an essay competition open to anyone in the fire service to source fresh ideas on leadership from the company officer’s perspective. This competition allows members of the fire service to share their ideas on company officer leadership in an environment that rewards excellence in writing and thought. “We’re bringing something completely new to the fire service. Through this contest, we hope our customers can learn from each other by sharing company officer perspectives on leadership in the fire service,” said Paul Darley, president and CEO.

Submissions must be 2,500 words or less and will be accepted until April 30. The winner will be announced in July. That person will receive $3,000 and a special feature experience with Darley.
