Santa Rosa (CA) FD Places Order for Two KME 101-Foot Tractor-Drawn AerialCats

NESQUEHONING, Pa. – Nov. 21, 2023 – KME, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., and a leading manufacturer of fire apparatus, is pleased to announce the Santa Rosa (California) Fire Department is set to receive two KME® 101-foot Tractor-Drawn AerialCats (TDA) to serve its area.

These cutting-edge fire apparatus will enhance the department’s capabilities in support of the department’s commitment to provide the highest level of service to the community. The apparatus were ordered through KME dealer Fire Department Solutions (FAS) in California.

  • Allison 4500 EVS Transmission
  • 300-Gallon Water Tank

  • 500-pound unrestricted wet or dry tip load rating
  • -7 degree low to 80-degree elevation rating

The Santa Rosa Fire Department provides fire protection, emergency medical, and rescue services to its community. The department’s service area encompasses all of the city of Santa Rosa, the Roseland Fire District, and a number of county islands within the city boundary. Serving a resident population of approximately 181,900 people and protecting an area of approximately 44.4 square miles, the Santa Rosa Fire Department operates 10 fire stations and 23 response apparatus including reserve apparatus.
