Sutphen Corporation, the largest family-owned fire apparatus manufacturer in the nation, recently announced the expansion of Heartland Fire Trucks as Sutphen’s official sales and service representative in Arkansas.
Already serving as Sutphen’s official sales and service representative in Oklahoma, Heartland Fire Trucks will expand its territory with the addition of Arkansas.
“With Heartland Fire Trucks’ experience and success as Sutphen’s Oklahoma dealer, we have great confidence in owner Mark Richardson,” said Sutphen’s director of sales and marketing, Zach Rudy. “Sutphen has a storied tradition in Oklahoma and Arkansas, and we look forward to Heartland Fire Trucks continuing that tradition.”
Headquartered in Marlow, Oklahoma, Heartland Fire Trucks is owned and operated by lifelong firefighter, Mark Richardson. Richardson’s team at Heartland Fire Trucks boasts over 50 years of experience in the fire industry.
“The Heartland Fire Trucks team is honored to have the opportunity to serve the fire departments of Arkansas,” said Heartland Fire Trucks’ owner, Mark Richardson. “Sutphen provides the best fire apparatus in the world and being a stable apparatus resource to departments in Arkansas and Oklahoma is a privilege.”
Fourth-generation president of family-owned Sutphen Corporation, Drew Sutphen, said that the expansion of Heartland Fire Trucks into Arkansas creates a great opportunity for both businesses.
“The Sutphen family is excited for this opportunity to remain strong, stable and committed to Arkansas fire departments,” said Sutphen. “With Heartland’s extensive understanding of the Sutphen brand, we are confident Mark and his team will continue our mission of providing the safest, most reliable fire apparatus in the world.”
